Organic Update!

Hello everyone, and here is your update from Organic Campus. We hope you are enjoying the spring weather and working hard on all of your end of semester papers and projects!

1. Ordering Info -- Please note that our last distribution will be next week, on Tuesday, April 8 -- so this week will be your LAST WEEK to order for this semester! So drop by today, stock up on root vegetables and order some sweet potato cinnamon bread to help you make it through the long studying nights ahead!

2. Today's distribution --

apples
carrots
beets/turnips
onions
sambusa/baked good
And for our last week, we should have the same items, but turnips will switch with beets or vice versa.

3. Summer baskets -- Although this semester's ordering is over, don't despair. Berhanu will be back this summer distributing his delicious and plentiful summer baskets every week in front of Shatner. The summer operations should start around the end of June, depending on weather conditions, of course. We'll update the blog regularly, so keep on reading!


4. Wanna get involved? -- As we tearfully say goodbye to several of our hard-working execs, Organic Campus is looking for some organically-minded folks to fill their spots. Being on the executive board is a great way to get more involved with the OC, including things like dealing with finances, finding new products, talking with farmers and distributors, doing research and providing info, updating the website, and much more...and if that's not enough, it looks great on a resume! Whether you've been a volunteer before or just read these emails every so often, we'd love to have you. If you're interested, let us know by sending us an email (organiccampus[a]gmail.com).
